I like Christmas (I think??)

 I do enjoy this time of year. The present list and the guessing game. Is this the right size? right colour?
Can I afford it? Have they got one? Do they want one? Can I be arsed to stand in this  queue ? Do they even deserve this present?

I do love this time of year, I play along.I buy the presents and send the cards but I must say I am very pleased when its all over.

Wallpaper

I like wallpaper.





I am delighted at the recent return of wallpaper. I could do every wall in my house in a different style. For now though I will stick with this one from B&Q. It changes like a mood stone depending on the weather coming in through the window.

Crochet

I like crochet                        

After watching a recent programme of homemaking, I have a wish to learn this skill. The problem I have experienced is that people who know how to do it, do it so fast. It's a struggle to catch it ???

I have watched lots of videos on you tube and to be honest the women have very annoying voices. The also go too fast and make it very complicated.
                                 So I need a very patient crochet teacher who doesn't have annoying voice.

Cake

I like cake













I recently spotted this bakers window while away on holiday. The range of cakes was amazing.This photo does not to justice to their range. It got me think about how much I miss having bakers in my neighbourhood. I wish could nip in for a cake fix.
I do bake myself but I am no expert and I could buy a few then disguise them as my own ???

Car Booty

I like car boots.

I love nothing better than trawling around a car boot sifting through other peoples crap. I have got some wonderful bits. My most recent bargain is a great little glass measure. Not only can I measure but I can tell the age of my eggs. This was used long before the time of sell by dates such a handy and lush kitchen friend!

Some where over the rainbow

I like rainbows.

I have always loved rainbows they are so beautiful. They now remind me of my mum.  She always used to sing somewhere over the rainbow to my children.

Wet winter Chills

Not the ones over my house today?

 I dislike wet Monday mornings.

Although at this time of year, I relish the thought of digging out my cardigans and thick woolly tights. The anticipation wanes very quickly as the rain lashes into my face and my tights get soggy.
